PLAST2018 in Milan
COMPEO, the new BUSS compounder series, successfully launched in Europe!
Four successful trade fair days in Milan are behind the BUSS team. There was great interest in the new COMPEO compounder technology. Many profound discussions were held with long-standing and potential customers. “PLAST has once again proven its internationality. We welcomed many interested visitors from Europe, the Middle East, Asia incl. Japan to our booth. And we are particularly pleased that we were able to register a positive, dynamic investment climate in Italy,” summarizes Philip Nising, CEO of Buss AG.The detailed technical improvements of the COMPEO compounder series determined the technical discussions at the BUSS stand in Milan.

These features were most questioned by visitors to the stand:
- the extremely wide range of applications
- the novel screw geometries
- the considerably extended process window
- the high output at lower speeds
- the high robustness and operational safety
- the improved energy efficiency
- the new machine design
- the innovative discharge concept
Around the process section we were able to present the enlarged inlet opening with venting option, the excellent accessibility of the process section with a unique 120° opening angle and the degassing at the discharge unit. The new COMPEO twin screw discharge unit attracted great interest, too.
“Numerous interested visitors and customers have visited us,” sums up Gianluca Tregnago, Sales Manager at BUSS. “The concept of our COMPEO is based on modularity, flexibility and versatility. It opens up completely new possibilities in the compounding of polymers. This potential has aroused great interest among visitors at the booth.”
